I'm going to be writing to conflicting views on growing up in St.louis. When you live somewhere the majority of your life it is very easy to see the negative in that place and the positive in somewhere else.  The grass is always greener on the other side. Today I'm going to have an argument why St.louis is bad and why it is great.
The main question I get when I say I grew up in St.louis Missouri is, "did you grow up on a
farm?" Contrary to popular belief I grew up in the suburbs of St.louis near the city. In St.louis there is no beach and nothing really to do outdoors.  The weather in St.louis is always terrible never perfect like florida. Everything enjoyable costs money in St.louis. Therefor it is not the best place to live.
On the other hand St.louis is a safe place to raise kids unless you live in the inner city.  Growing up all your friends are close and some ones parents are always out of town. Once you turn 18 the night life in St.louis is endless there are tons of clubs and bars to go to most of the time if you're a girl you get in free. So St.louis has it's benafits also.

How to debate a girl and win, was an interesting article.  It's funny that they said all the ways to avoid looking like a sexist bully because a lot of times that is how men are precieved when arguing with women. The author gave the advice that when arguing a women you have to give tips at improvement in their argument but not attack them.  I think that if a man was truly trying not to be sexist his argument wouldn't change from man to women.  I think the selected audience for this article would be men concerned about how people view them.

I’m a transplant to Florida I moved here from St.louis threeweeks ago.  I decided on Floridabecause it was warm and seemed like an exciting place, with a lot to do.  When I arrived in Tampa I felt comfortablehere.  I knew people fromorientation so right away I was always do something.  After a while I started really missing my friends.  Even though Tampa is pretty has a beachand a lot of clubs I feel empty with out my friends and wish they werehere.  Wednesday in my compositionone class my teacher asked, “if we could move anywhere where would it be?”  I thought about the question andrealized it isn’t about where you are it’s about who is there with you.  I’m struggling with the decision of transferringor staying here.  Even though Floridais the ideal state to live in it is so lonely without your loved ones.
